We are pleased to announce that our Jones Cove Residence has been awarded a 2024 ASPIRE Award. This project was honored with the Merit Award at a ceremony held on September 15. The ASPIRE Experience is an annual conference organized by the AIA state chapters of Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We are grateful to ASPIRE for recognizing our work, as well as our project team for their exceptional effort on this home.

About Jones Cove Farmhouse

Carefully placed along the edge of a meadow and forest, Jones Cove aims to honor the mountain farm heritage and historic structures of the surrounding valley. The land is located across the road from a barn and log cabin, possibly the oldest standing structure in the county. Our design solution was inspired by the simple forms, porches, and additions of the farmhouse vernacular. The large program of spaces is broken into three primary elements with open connectors between to allow landscape and views to flow between the buildings.
